Help with patch?

They claimed it was from the WingedCloud Patreon. It's the same download link as patches for their other games; the only ones I've tried have been for Sakura Sadist and Sakura Swim Club. I got bored of the latter and didn't get to see if the patch worked yet, but it did for Sakura Sadist.

Someone replied to that post, saying that the Patreon patch is outdated and doesn't work. I was able to start up the game. Right now I'm at the very, very beginning as I've only started playing. Perhaps it won't work. The MEGA link on that thread is also dead.

EDIT 1: I applied the patch, and it *seems* to be working. However, I'm not entirely sure. There's definitely NSFW content, however removing the patch doesn't change that. I'm not sure how the vanilla game plays out, though I'm tempted to reinstall and see what it's like to 100% confirm. There could still be issues, and the game could crash right before the end for all I know, but just an update.

EDIT 2: Yep, patch definitely has an effect. At least for me. I'm running under Linux, and there have been cases where devs don't update the Linux version of a game but update other releases. If I can play through the whole game with the patch working, I'll leave another edit. But so far so good! When I reinstalled the game and opened my save without the patch, I got a renPy error for missing assets (renPy is a game engine for Visual Novels). I wonder why it works. Maybe the patch was updated since the reply was made, though surely that'd require a different link... But I don't know how wetransfer works. If all else fails, you can buy a confirmed NSFW version from Nutaku: https://www.nutaku.net/games/download/sakura-nova/ I'm going to assume this is the same as the Steam version, and should have an "assets.rpa" file. Copying this from the Nutaku version and pasting it into the folder with the Steam version should also give the desired effect.

EDIT 3: It seems like the Gallery doesn't really work. I get a "Grid Overfull" error when I try to go past Page 4. I'm guessing this is because of the patch endings or something. Some of the lewd scenes do appear in the gallery though. Oh well.
