xbox controller unplayable

am I the only one finding it completely unplayable with xbox controller? looking around (right analog stick) seems to somehow snap more to N, W, S, E instead of moving freely around. Basically renders the game unplayable, as its impossible to target enemies

how do you guys play coop in this game? im very curious.. or everyone just plays it single player? i bought it only for the coop experience, which is useless due to the controller issue mentioned above... might have to get a refund or throw a bad review

Dont use a controller, but it isnt anything to do with the deadzone setting in options ?

I also find playing with an Xbox controller difficult: some action should be assigned to other buttons.

Also I can't play with my (french) keyboard as the game is locked with a QWERTY layout.

I was curious if I am the only one having big problems using a controller, so I checked here ... Too bad, because I looked forward to coop mode, sitting on the sofa together.

I really hope they fix this, would be too bad otherwise.

My main problem is aiming properly. I like the short reaction time windows, but they are not tough enough already with mouse + keyboard, meaning using a controller makes it unplayable.

I second this. I prefer my PC games with an Xbox controller, but in this case it's impossible. There's zero time to aim at the enemy. Also, giving out orders to your partner with a controller takes forever and therefore renders itself a death sentence.

The controls are just horrible. Can you remap them in the main game? The prologue you could not and I don't know picked those buttons but holy hell they are ♥♥♥♥.
