Rêverie is out now, free, on Windows, Mac and Android! (iPhone and iPad: coming soon.)

Rêverie is a set of illustrated audio stories you listen to like an audiobook and play like a game. A narrator speaks in your ear, the characters answer, the rain falls… and at every key moment, you decide what happens next.

Rêverie is made to be played together on a family evening: choices can be read aloud for children who can't read yet, and everyone gets a vote. Or on your own, in bed, in the dark: dark mode dims the screen, and all you have to do is close your eyes and listen.

• The Messenger of Corbeval: a stormy night in the Middle Ages, a letter from the king to deliver before midnight, and people who don't want it to arrive. About 25 minutes, 7 endings.

• The King Who Could Not Sleep: a fairy tale with songs, for young and old. Margot, nine years old, sets out to find the old king's forgotten lullaby. About 25 minutes, 5 endings.

Voices in English and French, subtitles in 8 languages, keyboard, mouse or controller. No ads.

Rêverie is a small indie game. If you enjoyed a story, a Steam review helps it reach other listeners more than anything. An idea, a bug, a favourite ending? Tell us in the discussions.

More stories will join the library. Enjoy the listen!
