better than DX-Ball and DX-Ball II?
i was a big player of DX-Ball and DX-Ball II back in the Win9x days. the game was simply better than the original brick breaker game. so... how does this version of brick breaker compare to DX-Ball and DX-Ball II?

DX-Ball was freeware, but i don't think it will run anymore on modern systems becuase of changes to directX. otherwise i would still be playing it.

just did some some searching.... DX-BALL is still playable on modern systems!!!! it is just hard to find because the guy who made it, appearently died (R.I.P.). anyways..... just saw all the negative reviews for this title, and one even saying DX-Ball is still better... so question answered.....
heres a link to the very last version of DX-Ball (v1.09) ever released by the guy who made the program.

https://archive.org/details/abandonware_dxball

and before anyone gets their hackles up about the term abandoneware in the link above. the software was originally 100% freeware, not shareware. can you really pirate something that was 100% free to begin with??

also found out that DX-Ball 2 20th anniversary edition is on steam for like $10. i won't post a link to that, since you are likely reading this from the steam client, just go to the store button and search DX BALL II

Yeah, this game has pretty terrible level design. It's been alternatingly boring or frustrating.
