controller buttons got mixed ?
Using an xbox x controller and all of a sudden a became b along some other mix ups... dk whats up lol

i had same issue happen to me i ended up having to manually set it back up, then months later it fixed it self i think it was something to do with steam but im not 100% sure

right click it in library/manage/controller layout

also i went into game and found out what button did what on keyboard and set it up like that
