English subtitles on pc version or?
Greetings.

I am a little confused. On the steam page it shows that the game does not have English subtitles, yet I have seen subtitles, although they were on PS4. So figured I would ask. Here does trial if cold steel 1 and 2 have English subtitles or would I need to get the PS4 version? I am hearing impaired so just switching the voices to English won't help much.

The game is fully english-translated and all dialogues have text versions (it technically not subtitles so that's probably why English subs aren't listed) . In fact, only small portion of it is voiced. So you are safe to go

I assume it's the same for number 2 as well?

Yes. Same for all games in series so far, and I can't see it changing anytime soon

Steam dont consider them " subtitles " because the Trails series are 100% texted. It's just that in Cold Steel series some of the dialogues are voiced as well ( the important ones). No need to get the ps4 version, they are identical. Just bear in mind that CS IV will release half a year later for PC ( probably march 2021)

The only things without subtitles are the lines characters say in combat like "My Turn!" or "Flames, gather on my blade!", that sort of thing.
