System Requirements questions
I was looking at the system requirements for the game. I have a 3072MB ATI AMD Radeon HD 7900 Series (Sapphire/PCPartner) video card and it looks like my Video card sits somwhere between the Minimum requirements and the Recommended requirements, is that correct?

Here are the game system requirements for reference.
MINIMUM:
OS: Windows 7 or later
Processor: Intel Atom x7-Z8700 2.4 GHz
Memory: 4 GB RAM
Graphics: Shader Model 5 (GeForce 400 / Radeon HD 5000 / Intel post-2012 series)
DirectX: Version 11
Storage: 15 GB available space
Additional Notes: 1280x720 / 30 FPS with portable settings

RECOMMENDED:
OS: Windows 7 or later
Processor: Intel i3 3 GHz
Memory: 4 GB RAM
Graphics: Geforce GTX 770 / Radeon R9 280X
DirectX: Version 11
Storage: 15 GB available space
Additional Notes: 1920x1080 / 60 FPS with high settings

I would like to go for the recommended settings, do you think I should upgrade the video card to something better? I have 8 GB of Ram and a i5 3.4 GHz with Direct X version 12 so that is fine, its the video card I would like to know about.

I got my current card in 2013 when I built this pc and I haven't had the opportunity to upgrade and the Canadian Dollar/US Dollar exchange rate sucks right now making cards like a GTX 1070 pricier than I would line. Thanks.

the HD 7900 is much much newer than the HD 5000. Radeon RX series are pretty good.

In fact a Radeon HD 7970 is the same card as a Radeon R9 280X. Only clock speeds are different depending on the specific card. If you have Radeon HD 7970 you do fullfill the recommended requirements most likely. If your have a Raeon HD 7950 you are between the recommended and the minimum requirements.

But until the release we can hardly estimate the peformance in reality. I look forward to the release and the first performance reports of the game.

I'm curious as to my specs as well. I've played both Cold Steel games on the PS3 already and have been eagerly awating this re-release. Then I saw the system requirements and my heart sank a little. Almost everything meets recommended requirements, except the graphics card. I'm somewhere between minimum and recommended with a GeForce GTX 750 instead of the recommended GTX 770. I'd like to think this wouldn't cause too many issues, but it is worrying. I plan on buying the game no matter what if only to show my support for the series, but I would preferably still like to be able to play the game as soon as I've purchased it.

The GTX 750 is kind of an interesting one. Assuming you have the second iteration of it, it's a Maxwell chip onboard, which actually makes it a bit better than the other 700 series cards of comparable range. It's certainly not up to 770 in terms of capability, but it should be fine for the game.

If you can run neptunia rebirth you can probably run this.

Agreed. probably better than Neptunia as those are not optimized at all, even beefy computers ran at 15 FPS in sections. And everything we have been hearing is that the PC version is quite optimized on low end laptops for 30 FPS.

It's not like you really need it too, outside the swimming contest the game is solidly turn based, you could get away with 15. Hell in sections on the PS3 you were lucky to get to 15 FPS.

Well as long as the frame drawn is constant it should be smooth well unless its like 1fps constant or something.
