tips on how to have the game run in the background?

I've played the game on PS3 way before the Steam release and finally got around to try on PC and the difference is so jarring that its quite great (Obviously), although when I try to do things offscreen in either windowed or "fullscreen" (Which IIRC I read its borderless Windowed unless its not?) the game keeps going on "Pause" until I click back ingame.

Checked if there were solutions beforehand like Special K (With the option ticked, still does the same thing) or even tried Borderless Gaming and still no dice.

I have no idea why it keeps happening and having the game pause and unpause cause im doing stuff in the background becomes somewhat annoying quite quickly lol

Set the game resolution for the same as your desktop. Should automatically go to borderless windowed.

Unfortunately that's not the question im asking and not my overall issues.

While the game does go in Borderless Windowed mode, the game keeps pausing when I try to do things offscreen (I use 2 Monitors)

Sometimes when I close somethings I have open will cause the game to unpause itself but any inputs I do with my mouse register as actions in game or the game pausing although it doesn't accept inputs from my controller.

Never had these issues with other games that use Borderless windowed

You can unbind the mouse buttons from Configuration Tool. That should solve your issue, I hope.
