And in terms of strength, it is speculated that he should be roughly on the same level as Viktor S. Arseid. Which is pretty darn strong at least. (Have to be careful with power levels in Trails ... can get messy fast.)
So how strong is yun ka fai? As strong as the grandmaster i think.
You got a couple of things mixed up here. If you don't mind me clearing them up:
There are 4 S-rank Bracers and there is another A-rank Bracer that is close to S-rank. Cassius isn't the only one.
Loewe isn't the only Enforcer who can match the power of an Anguis.
(Sky SC spoilers) Loewe's demon sword Kernviter was forged through the Divergent Laws. It was only stated that the Grandmaster had granted it to Loewe. We do not know enough about the Divergent Laws to know if it comes from the Grandmaster.
(More Sky SC spoilers) Cassius wouldn't win against Loewe if they had fought each other in SC. If Cassius hadn't given up the way of the sword, then he would be able to beat Loewe. You also have to remember that Loewe likes to hold back. If Kernviter can cut through the Aureole's absolute barrier, I doubt Cassius, even in his prime, would be able to defend against it.
We also don't know if the Grandmaster can even fight at all, so I don't know if that's a suitable comparison for Yun Ka-fai. The only person we know of who is comparable to Yun Ka-fai is Viscount Victor S. Arseid, although I do think Yun Ka-fai is stronger.
I agree that Yun Ka-fai must be pretty strong, maybe he is even the strongest character in the series, but we simply don't know enough about him yet to say for sure, I don't think.
I dont know who would win if Loewe and Cassius had fought but one thing I am sure of is that Grandmaster should be really strong. She took aurorole without any planning or any backlashes (unlike weisman who lost control a bit after a while).
Also while I havent seen the character myself yet , I hear that there is a certain character in Cold Steel 2 who is one of the strongest person in the entire ouroboros society. But like I said I haven't seen the character in action yet so all I know about him is his name and he has the same power that Rean has , which kinda reminds me of Akuma and Ryu from street fighter. One side is trying to not get consumed by it while also trying to get use out it while the other just embraces it at least that is the impression that I got.
Yeah, that character was the one I was referencing.
(Sky Trilogy spoilers) If a certain popular Grandmaster theory is correct, then that might explain why she was able to receive the Aureole without any problems.
Once you beat CSII (or at least reach the beginning of Act II in CSII), you can read the second Drama CD on the CSII website. In that Drama CD there is something mentioned that I personally find very interesting. It's something that makes me think that, even if that particular theory turns out to be true, the Grandmaster could still be a powerful fighter anyway.
It's not a major spoiler, but if you would rather wait to read it for yourself, then don't read the next spoiler. If you don't mind some minor spoilers or have already read the second Drama CD: (Spoilers for CSII Drama CD) A little girl was writing a fantasy book (and we all know how important the books in Trails turn out) about some flower spirits and the goddess. She says she feels the goddess would want to fight alongside the flower spirits if they worked together like how Rean and co. do.
The exact quote is: "Tilia: 'Watching you all work together to help everyone made me wish I had friends just like you guys. It made me think about how if the goddess watched the spirits doing the same thing for long enough, she'd eventually want to fight by their side, too.'"
From the first moment I read that, I felt like it was forshadowing. So I think we may see some kind of 'Divine Intervention' at some point. Although this is just a small theory of mine, it could very well back up the notion that the Grandmaster should be really strong.
And for the person you guys talking about is "blazing demon" McBurn. he is no.1 enforcer and yes, he take interest in rean because he possess the demon power inside just like himself. McBurn is also have a sword from grandmaster power called angbart. It's to be said that his raw power is rival to arianhord the "steel maiden" of ouroboros and his swordmanship is rival to loewe
Duh, silly me. I got too excited when u guys talked about that man and forget to cover up that line. I guess i let my guard down for this man. Thanks for noticing me dude. Have to be more careful next time, i guess. Haha
I, too, really like that character.
