How to edit tbl file?

Hello. I want to make a Korean patch.

I extracted the pkg files and the font from the PS3 version. However, when I change files with copy & paste ,

Game has crash after run. Open the file to notepad ++. Then, copy and attach contents. But there is an error.

Does anybody know how to solve this problem?

Chinese patch already exists. It looks like it's settled. Somebody help me please...

Extracting implies that the files were converted into a human-readable format. This format will not be comprehensible to the game engine (otherwise you wouldn't have needed to extract the files in the first place).

You need a compiler/repacker. I have no idea whether one exists, but given that people are making VA patches and (like you said) a Chinese patch, probably one does. But that doesn't mean the teams responsible for those patches publically released their tools.

If you really want to do this, I would try to contact the teams creating those mods.

You should pop over into the Trails in the Sky (FC) board, someone there posted tools. Sky runs on a different engine, but the author of the tools might know who can help you even if they can't.

Did you try a hex editor or notepad?
