This update improves crafting, storage management and building. It also gives you more ways to adjust graphics and investigate problems.

Crafting stations now have their own orders, can be paused individually and can use specific storage containers. You decide where ingredients come from and where finished products go.

Stations show you when materials are missing or the destination storage is full. Reserved ingredients and finished products are retained. If a station is lost, you can recover its reserved crafting orders through the crafting menu.

You can reposition and rotate placed equipment while keeping its contents, settings and ongoing processes, including chest contents, plant growth and cooking progress.

Before dismantling equipment, the game checks whether everything being returned fits in your backpack. If there is not enough space, the equipment stays in place.

Five graphics presets, up to Extreme, offer different settings for performance and visual quality. Powerful PCs can use render quality of up to 200 percent.

Press F8 to open the new diagnostic console. It displays error messages, performance measurements and information about game systems. If you encounter a problem, you can export a diagnostic report to help with troubleshooting.

Four additional expansion goals give you more tasks after repairing the beacon.

Version 0.9.52 is available to existing eligible Steam players on the default branch and the testing branch. Let Steam download the update before your next session. For co-op, all players should use the same game version.

What should we improve next: building, crafting, controls or the world at sea?
