Raising Slime?

I currently have 12 slimes of the 2 varieties and have some questions about them. I've been look around and can't seem to find answers anywhere so pardon the questions.

1. how many in game days/real time does it take for them to be fully grown?

2. Can you breed them? How?

3. Is dropping food by them the only way to feed them? I'm assuming they only need to eat once a day?

4. To follow up with #3, how long can you go without feeding them?

5. Should they stay in a fence or can they roam around? I have 4 in a fence and the rest I put out.

From what i've learned the slimes do not grow up they stay babies (doesn't affect oil/mucus collection), you can not breed them, I would just plant the food they eat and let it grow, they can go without food (but feeding them helps), and I always kept mine in a fenced area so I don't really know if there's a difference. As a final note, my slimes would despawn when ever I went to fight a boss and I don't know why but keep that in mind. Hope this helps!

Thanks! I already finished the game with my 1st saved game(which i'm currently playing) so I'll keep the boss thing in mind when continuing my 2nd xD Shame they stay babies.. when someone told me we could raise slimes I thought we could do the whole 9 yards. have them grow,breed etc. They are cute though (*'^'*)
