Unlock the cage! Help
So i am litteraly stuck, it feels like a tech hang. Even if i press the lock combination in the correct order nothing happens and since you can't die of starvation the game is pretty much stuck.

What's the trick in getting over this?

You should press the right "W A S D" buttons. Since you press the right one its colour turns to green and the button disappears. To unlock the cage all the buttons should be pressed correctly. If you once press the wrong one you'll have to start over.

@catface99 ///SPOILER/// When you bring the brilling caps to the shaman in the ice cave, you get trapped in a cage minigame, and can't starve until you unlock it. For the love of God, though, if you glitch and there's a hole in the cage, do the minigame so the quest updates, and doesn't get stuck!

How do you even get the brilling caps.... I'm at the part where you need to get them, but have no clue what I'm doing.

Holy hell this is the cage sucks for me... either I'm too tired to do it or I suck at it... Doesn't help when I press the right one sometimes it doesn't trigger and it fails on me... ugh I'ma take a nap.

Update: Nope, I couldn't personally do it, had to get someone else to complete it for me. :(
I absolutely adore this game, but that 1 moment kinda put a dent in my love. xD

I thought at first they were found around the little mushroom guys in the cave and pop up and then hide away quickly... turns out you need to kill those to get the brilling caps. I don't really have any tips to get them easily besides sprinting at a mushroom guy that recently popped up and trying to hit them with your weapon (magic doesn't seem to work on them and I'm just gonna guess bows don't either)

Yeah I already got them no thanks. They are annoying because they appear too far away for too short a time for you to get them easily.

You gotta get lucky, and be running at one when it decides to pop up. get super close, and cut it. press Spacebar if you need a quick dash...

Also that cage mini-game. The first time I did it, I got through the first lock set, and stopped, thinking there'd only be one set of tumblers. Turns out it's the most advanced lock you've ever seen, and probably magic. XD If they'd set it to one round of tumblers, it'd be much fairer to the poor folks that don't have the reflexes for games like that! Otherwise, they need to get someone else to do it (as mentioned above). Or they get stuck, and give up. It can just hang their progress right there if they can't do it. Seems a little much to me. I was never any good at DDR. I eventually managed to get it, after several hours of pure frustration... Nerf it by like half at least guys, it feels long as heck. :steamsalty:
P.S. It did feel super good after I beat it, and then I was hyped for the boss battle, so the rush of beating it, got me going for the boss, and still got my butt kicked by point blank ice bolt spam, but that happens...

I have to press the key 1-5 times to make it green. Buggy? :franbow:
