Can you get stuck?
Hi, guys.

Liking the game so far, I'm on Chapter 3 and trying to go the Good route. It seems to me that this is the hardest one, right?

By the way, I'm curious to know whether some action can lead to irreversible events which would compromise my route without further notice. In general, it seems that once you do something evil, the game warns you that the good route has been prevented. Are there also invisible cases, which are only revealed later on?

Thanks!

If you know what you shouldn't do, that should be easy. Knowing what you shouldn't do is the challenge.

It usually notifies you in form of those little icons in your inventory. There was even some indication of your heart over there, if I remember? There shouldn't be any secrets like you described.

Only softlock I found was abusing a bug. On bad route theres an event that makes you lose an eye but if you are fast you can leave before it happens. I believe you can continue just fine all the way to the last chapter but then the game gets confused because you aren't on a route. Its possible that I was just on a new route but previous solutions to the level weren't there and I couldn't find a way to progress anywhere (take it from someone thats cleared most endings).

TLDR: If you play normally theres no way to get stuck and even after many hours I only found that 1 way to get stuck. The game also tells you explicitly what route you are on in the pause menu.

Thank you both!

Out of topic: is the second chapter worth as well?

It's long too late for this answer to help the original posters, but in case anyone reading later comes across this (and to shamelessly promote my new guide):

Most of the time when you think you're stuck, you're actually not; the game has an alternate route to get where you need to know which doesn't match the guide you're reading. Try reading my new guide [gamefaqs.gamespot.com] for details on all of the possible variants out there. It should keep you from getting stuck. (See also this discussion .)

But that glitch that Halfshell Cat mentioned IS one of those rare cases when you actually are stuck. The only one I've ever seen so far, in fact (and it is also mentioned in my guide [gamefaqs.gamespot.com]).
