Basics First Guide

I've tried multiple times to send this via the guides section, but keep getting "ACCESS DENIED" So here, Read on!

First, the in-game training is a joke. Trail and error was my best tutorial for this game. Plus, this is the first steam guide anyway. You'll have to learn time management for sure, and be constantly pausing the game to set orders for your ppl bc the game keeps running while your trying to set their priorities, unless paused.

Basics:
Your ppl need heat, food, power, and health. Collect wood for heat, create food in the shelter, keep your power up and running by collecting parts, and heal them up in the shelter pods. Creating food and healing requires power. The challenge is that not everyone can do all of these tasks in the beginning. You can teach new skills or improve their current skills to collect faster.

Controls:
Pan--LMB/A/D
Zoom--Scroll Wheel/W/S
Pause--Space
Game Speed--CTRL

Orders:
Hover over your ppl for a pop-up showing four tabs: Jobs, Health, Food, and Skills. Hover over Jobs to see what skills they already know. These include: gathering Wood, creating Food, gathering parts, and Power management. Most ppl only have two. You can teach them another skill in the skills tab.

By left clicking a job, they will continually do that job until you give them another order, aka eat, study, rest. After resting, they will continue their last skill job. Eating will cancel all jobs after eating.

Dilemmas:
Bad Weather--It will get very cold outside, so collecting wood and parts will reduce your health.
Break Downs--The generator will go down often, so having 6 parts always available will save you from not being able to create food and heal your ppl.

There is a way to create a guide without buying a game.

Then your guide will be published without reference to one specific game. And your guide everyone can like.
