HOW I BEAT THE GAME

So yes, you can win. I did it after a couple of hours playing. I'm not sure which day it was, but it was earlier than other games that I lost on day like 32-33.

First, you must understand that leaving the planet is very necessary, unlike survival mode, which gets unlocked once you beat regular mode.

Second, you cannot repair everything, because the material is needed for upgrades. I found that the heaters located right next to the doors (L+R) are not needed at all because you dont spend time in those two very small rooms, you just dump and you leave.

The basic idea like other said, is to specialize or dedicate one character on a different, specific task. Upgrade his skill when the weather is bad, when nobody can go outside, as night time. Others queue in the cooking or studying lines, to prevent exiting. When you top one, chose a second one and so on.

I found the gameplay quite different when you have 5 compared to 2 people and i'll explain. When you have 2-3 people going outside all the time, you don't need to heat the base at all, because there is always (make sure you have) 2 healing pads available and nobody waits inside, exception of the one that cooks, which goes healing while others are doing their errands.

Knowing when to go outside is critical, so the weather antenna ugrades are awesome. I got 2 of them. There is also the battery, i found by mistake that when the fusion core goes down, you dont need to use 6 materials to repair it, just send someone in the building, and another one to charge the battery if the weather is bad. Never leave people inside this building just idle, it's considered being outside. Check the yellow bar indicator. One or two upgrades for the battery are enough.

Getting wood. Yes and no. Yes if you have a house full of people, otherwise don't waste any time on wood, as said previously. If you do, just use one dude, and 2-3 people for gathering materials, which IS essential to get the hell out of there.

I had the food upgrade 60 and the material upgrade 100, just at the end , because you'll need to use 90 for the big one. as for wood, 20-40 not more.

I wish you all GG, this is an awesome game. The survival mode works quite differently. No reinforcements, bad weather, and forget about gathering wood!!!

Just to clarify, he always spawns, just not on the same day.
