Regarding the "Seal" system
I'll try to be as short as possible and no, this isn't a rant about the issue at hand, but a proper discussion about a system that, in some people words "invites you to use a bot".

The "Seal" system is one of many features of the game, one that is really good when it comes to the buffs it gives, but have it's flaws when we talk about how to unlock those buffs.

First of all: The number of seals requiered per digimon.
3k seals per digimon where the aprox drop rate is something like 70% is wrong. Plain and simple. I can't argue against someone that says "game is going to die without bots" when you need to kill 6k (as the best case scenario) mobs to actually get ONE seal slot maxed. That is absurd and damages the whole game, no joke.

Some possible solutions, as I see it, would be the following:

1- Reduce the amount of seals requiered to 1.5 or 1k so it is still "hard", yet it isn't an oppresive grind fest to achieve.

2- Revamp the system so now there's a 15% chance of getting one digimon seal, but once you get it, you need to activate it (with a single opener) and then it will level up each time you kill a digimon from the seal evolution line. There, when you max a rank (like bronce and want to step up to silver) you need now some more openers to continue leveling up.

3- Reduce the amout of seals per digimon to 500 and nerf the seal system so it's easier, but not as impactful as it is now. This way the system will be an skipable thing even in "end game".

The idea behind this is reduce the burden this system creates so people feel less and less need to use bots to farm those 3k seals, because let's be honest, leveling up a digimon from 0 to 99 even against the same enemy is easier than farming 3k seals of that mob. Not only that, but the idea is to reduce the amount of systems, the game have, that requiere you to farm a particular item, thus reduce the "need to use bots".

Guys, this is an idea for the best of the game, to make it far more interesting and enjoyable, not to ease things up because I don't like them. Think about it and see that all of those "farm a million of this to get that" systems are the reason people even consider bots in the first place. Even the sole idea of not having to pick up an item, but rather have a bar that fills in the background as you play really ease things up for the players.

I do understand your view, but this kind of systems are what bores and invites people to use bots or similar programs. What I'm trying to do is to adress that and look for a way to make the system less grindy so we can reduce the usage of bots. I'm not saying "destroy the system" just do it in a way that the bots have less places to interfere and get profit.

Tbh I really hope so, but still even with or without bots the system is a little too grindy.

The reality is that this game is all about the grind, take it away and you are left with nothing.

That said, I really like your second idea, make the seal a rare drop that needs to be opened then "charged." It would be too difficult to implement now considering we already have so many seals sitting around in inventories.

As for the bot problem, it's just players being lazy. If you took away the seal grind, they would look for something else to bot. The only thing that will stop them is taking away their ability to use illegal programs entirely.

just do dungeons, farm stuff, sell the stuff and buy seals with it, much easier than farming seals... or farm seals and buy cheaper seals for it... thats teh way i made most of my seals up to 3k

it isnt hard to get several seals up to 3k, just grindy

Yeah, I know that. I do the same thing, but the idea is to give the bots less to do. As I mentioned above, some people find seals so grindy that they do use bots to farm them and the idea of havin multiple items that can be sold is a way that those people use to gin profit even if they have enough seals.

All and all, I just to try to give some imperfect ideas and see if someone agrees or can come up with somethig better.
