Can't install the game due to "Disk Write Error" unable to download Data\Pack01.pf [FIXED]
Need help regarding the installation, i just downloaded this game and when i reach 90% (1.3GB of 1.4GB) it stopped downloading and i get the message "An error occurred while updating Digimon Master Online (disk write error) : D:\Steam\steamapps\downloading\537180\Data\Pack01.pf"

the problem persist no matter how many times i retry updating it, how do i fix this?

I'm gonna try re-installing it to see if the problem is fixed.

Disk Write errors are most commonly associated with permissions issues.
first, make sure you're running steam and/or DMO as an admin (right-click -> run as administrator), second ensure that you can access the folder it indicates in the error and that said folder isn't read-only.

Unfortunately, no. The issue still persists, and a new error arrived. UNspecailized disk. which is super bull, since most games run on my drive. (Like Portal 2, The binding of Isaac, etc.)

That error CAN have the same cause as the previous one (the game doesn't have permission to access to disk) however I noticed a rather co-incidental issue in another thread....where the file you were having trouble accessing earlier is being flagged as a virus by certain anti-virus programs (it's a false positive ofc).
Try delete the game files (manually, so that you remove the files the patcher downloaded on top of the steam files) and then try re-downloading and running the game with your anti-virus(and firewall) disabled, as before ensure you're running steam (and hence the game launcher) as admin.
