Is this like a monster-raising MMO?

Saw this game through the Steam twitter. Monster-raising games are my weakness, but I've played very few Digimon games (you can probably guess what my main go-to for monster-raising is). I'm also a big fan of MMOs when I can find time to play them, and combining the two genres sounds fantastic.

But IS it monster-raising? Like, you can raise multiple monsters? Or do you choose one monster at the start and are stuck with it? I only watched a bit of the cartoon and IIRC the kids only ever had one monster, so...

Like, can anyone give me the gist of what the gameplay is like? Can I expect monster raising + MMO, or is it something different entirely?

Yes, it is a monster-raising MMO-based game. You'll be able to raise over 100 Digimons, which includes various mercenary Digimons and one Partnermon that you begin the game with.

I am new to this game too like you and what I see from the gameplay - you are allowed to raise multiple but you only can bring 1 into battles

Please correct me if I am wrong, all the experienced players on Steam
