Actually they reduced the amount of quest items you had to drop in maze. Well that was changed when the game was still on Joymax's hands.
Before the change the drop rate was a hell and you have to drop 10 more items than what you drop now (example, if you now need to drop 20 items, before it was 30 items to drop), I did most of maze with the old drop rate and the old amount of items to drop. Now that was hell, big hell I tell you x_x
Maze F3 quests involving drops originally asked you for 45 drops! Some time later and after several complains from the players, they raised the drop rate for those quest drops and reduced the amount you needed to drop. On Maze F3 was from 45 to 30.
With all the rebalancing of digimon and skills, Maze is now stupidly easy, you basically one shot everything and that only makes the quests feel worse. Seriously, the only way to even do Maze questing without losing your mind is with a lvl 99 digi so you right click somethig and let the digimon do the job while watching something on a tv, because trying to actually play the game with such absurd quests is almost inviting you to use a bot. They don't want people to use bots? well DON'T do quests that takes ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ FOREVER to complete because RNG
If you want to play something with less grinding and have auto quests, DMO is not for you then.
P.S. I'm still in favor of reinstating the drop rate.
You mean the WaruMonzaemon quest on silent forest? If so, then I was so lucky a couple of weeks ago, because I did that daily quest to level up my BlackAgu and BlackGabu and didn't have to wait much. Some times didn't wait at all because I killed three on one ch and the rest on other ch XD
I really hope that they release anytime soon a new map like that, with many quests and different Digimons, because since I finished Maze I haven't anything to do in game.
