Recover old account
So, is there a way to recover an old account? I tried playing DGMO YEARS ago with my little brother but didn't had the time. I think this was way back in the old Joymax days, can't be sure, but it was old. Now that my brother is older, he wants me to try and play the game with him again.

But here is the deal: The account is so old that I don't remember anything about it, just some bits like starter digimon. I don't even have access to the email of that account. I already tried contacting gameking staff but they don't respond to my emails.

So, can anyone help me with this issue?

Hi there! do you still remember the email address you used in signing up in your account? and still have access on that email account?
Nizzy Apr 5, 2018 @ 5:48am
I remember the email I used, its almost the same one I use now but it was a hotmail email. I had some problems with that email and microsft wasn't able to help me so I don't have access to it anymore.

I'm hoping I can recover my account even if I don't remember all the details. I was able to "migrate" every game I played at the time I lost the old email and the most intolerant ones was the people that was running DC Universe before Daybreak, I think it was SOE, can't remember. But in the end they managed to do it with the little information I had.

Well in that case im very sorry to tell you that theres nothing left i can help with. I know it sucks but try your best getting your account back. You can get help from the GM's they could track down your missing account but you do need alot of information regarding to your account.

- I wish you good luck on getting your account.

Yeah, I tried to contact them. They don't respond to emails and I can't post in gameking forums for some reason. Is there any other way to contact them?

Well so far they do respond to users through Steam Discussion but they rarely respond to users.

Unfortunately, if you don't remember crucial information about your account that is asked and requiered to verify the information for recovery, I don't think you'll be able to recover the account.

Here is the form you need to fill to recover your account:

User ID/Username:
E-Mail Used to Create your Account:
Current E-Mail:
New E-Mail: (If you need to change it, if not, leave this blank)
Year and Month when your Account was Created: (Ex.: October 2017)
Country in which your Account was Created: (Ex.: Germany)
Sanction History : (If your account was previously banned, say when or for what reason, if not leave this blank)
E-Mail Change History: (If your E-Mail was previously changed, mention which if you remember, if not, leave this blank.)
Tamer Name: (Tamer you play the most)
Server: (Server of the mentioned Tamer)
Tamer Level:
Mention at least 3 Digimons of your Possession: [Digimon Type, Name, Level], [Digimon Type, Name, Level], [Digimon Type, Name, Level]

You can fill that in and send a ticket but I remind you if any of that information is missing or you say "I don't remember" it will be declined because of lack of information.

That is pretty harsh, isn't it? Its been almost 6 years since I didn't touched that account. There is no reason for me to lie. The emails are the same, I just changed from hotmail to outlook. There is no way to recover it with a little flexibility? That is disappointing.

Again, there is no reason for me lie. I don't know why just must be so harsh.

What is harsh about verifying your account with the information you're supposed to know?

Nobody is accusing you of anything, this is the standard procedure for recovery any account and your account is no exception.
If you don't remember the information, we cannot proceed. It is the same if you go to a bank, they ask you for information to verify that you're the owner of the account. If you can't provide the asked information, they will lock you out of the account because you're suspected of a theft attempt.

I am sorry if you feel like you should get more flexibility but that is how it works. Users actively attempt to steal accounts guessing the information of the user to see if they can change the password and e-mail on it and claim it as their while stealing it.

All users that want to modify or recover access to any lost account need to prove first that they are the owners of that account by filling that form in completely and sending it in. The most important parts that are looked at when verifying are:

User ID/Username:
E-Mail Used to Create your Account:
Current E-Mail:
Year and Month when your Account was Created: (Ex.: October 2017)
Country in which your Account was Created: (Ex.: Germany)

If any of those is empty or missing or you fill in "I don't know/I don't remember", the verification procedure is cut because of lack of information and won't be recovered.

As the rightful owner of your account, you should know that information. If you don't know it or don't remember it, I'm sorry but we cannot do anything about it

It sounds harsh but that is how it works if we want to keep a certain safety level within accounts.

If you want to recover your account, recover the access to your old e-mail.

But in the bank you have almost all your information printed in some sort of card and the like, it is almost impossible for you to forget. But ah, it doesn't matter, what matter is: I don't remember my username, that is how all this mess started. Since I don't have access to my old email anymore, I can't change my username. Everything else in the form is manageble somewhat.

I will try to get the information and send another form, in the worst case I will just have to play another game.

Anyway, thank you for your answear, I really appreciate it.

Personally i feel the only question that might be hard is the "Year and Month when your Account was Created" when you're trying to recover ur account from say 2 years ago, can he offer additional info instead? something only the original owner would know?
Nizzy Apr 5, 2018 @ 10:16am
I actually spent the last 25 minutes trying to login with all the usernames I used back in the day and managed to login. But now there is the email change problem. There is no way I will remember the year and month I made my account. It was probably made in 2012 or 2013, but I surely will not remember which month it was.

If I send a form with every other info but leave the "Year and Month when your Account was Created" blank, will I be able to change the email?

It think so mate, u basically need to prove without a doubt that its urs and ur not a thief, try and add as much as u can. The more proof u can give -that can be verified- the higher ur chance is
