You get one for reaching tamer lvl 50 and one for tamer lvl 60. And I got another one from the Virus Digimon event.
2 guranteed 5/5 digimon for lvling up. What more could you want?
Hatching them from 0/5 to 5/5 seems impossible to me tho. There are hatch backups... but they only work from 3/5 to 4/5 ...- unless there are other kinds of backup too... But I have only seen people sell 3/5 to 4/5 backups.
I hatched a Pyiomon from 0/3 to 4/5...I was really happy... I still am.
In the end it is all luck.... I wouldn't spend any money on hatching.
The way reports are being handled right now, I wouldn't spend any money at all. That game is a bot hell.
A 3/5 to 4/5 backup already costs about 4 or 5 t (ugh ..on beelzemon server that is).... and it doesn't gurantee you a successful lvl up either.... I would not rely on backups.
Maybe you should save up t and invest in a guranteed 5/5... bought from other players.
BEWARE! Buying cash shop eggs are still gambling and most items are "gambling items" and not "100% succes items". You are not guaranteed for 100% 5/5 egg. Here is the following scenario you get for buying cash shop egg.
1) 5/5 100%: Just get low data from drops or buy from players. You were very lucky!
2) 4/5 100%: Just get low date from drops or buy from players. You can't safely upgrade it to 5/5 as it will risk breaking and lose the item. You need Hatch backup. which the Cash Shop version will not work. As it only allows to protect eggs till they reach 4/5 since it is level 4. To get the level 5 version you need to be lucky at Devimon raid dungeon. You can't buy it from other players as it is char bounded. Your luck was average.
3) 3/5 100%: Just get low date from drops or buy from players. This is your worst luck and not getting the best outcome. You still can upgrade it but see reason 2). Making you spend more real money to get that 5/5. Your luck was horrible.
Nah you will never get 0/5,1/5 or 2/5 succes egg. At least you are guaranteed to able hatch it when bought which is minimum of 3/5 always.
PS: Yes the tutorial made it easy. But the egg clearly said 100%. They can say "but if you hover it on the egg, you can see it". I can't fault you with that logic. The tutorial is the one at fault. It should clearly talked about the egg being do able without risk till 3/5. Then you try hatch backup to try get it to 4/5. Saying "Sometimes you get lucky and sometimes you don't get lucky. Don't be afraid the hatch backup has protect your egg from breaking." Conclusion the tutorial is misleading players showing how easy it is while in fact it is not!
5/5 Hatch backups are dropped from Mega box or Giga Box. Which is gotten from the raid bosses at the Infinite Mountain Dungeon. I opened 500 of mega box and only got 3 from it. That's how bad my luck was. Also Mega box gives 2 items randomly that puts me at 3/1000.
The Kuwa spawns every 2 hours.
You kill him so that it drops mera summon card and you use that card.
Repeat again with mono, leo, orge and finally devi.
Always channel 0,1 and 2 are open. So you can get up to 18 per 2 hours. Not counting if someone hoards the mera summon cards and runs off with it, to do 6 or 9 rounds etc.
You get plenty of free Digimon just playing normally from events. For getting normal eggs a LOT will hatch if you only want a 3/5 from my experience and the issue is more maxing them out.

As it states at the bottom.... hatching a 3/5 is a waste of ressources... since they are really weak. I remember that Renamon eggs need 10 low class beast datas for each try... that's quite a lot.
You should at least go for a 4/5... I also hatched a 3/5 Dobermon when I started playing. Later I felt ashamed for it because it's so tiny.
and you know you can raise the success by 4% when paying the 10-20m for that minigame.
Yes,you are guaranteed to get minimum 3/5 and max 5/5. But know what you get yourself into!
It is RNG depend what you get, hence you are gambling with the cash shop egg for their level 3, level 4 or level 5. Since level 5 hatched digimon can easily be much more stronger state wise then 4 and 3.
I can't say sure for certain what the odds are for getting one of those 3.
It can be 1/3 chance for all or that 3/5 is 60%, 4/5 is 30% and 5/5 10%.

If the game is based on making profit from cash shop. I am very doubting for the 1/3 chances. Most likely that 3/5 has higher chance then 4/5 and 5/5. 4/5 has higher chance then 5/5.
If normal eggs aka drops form digimons those are 0/5 always. I hope that it was not egg shop that you failed.
Yes you need to mega grind x of normal eggs + x amount of low data of their species. Then spam it.
Here is video sample (not me) to show you how after you grinding pays off. Which may or may result getting what you want or nothing at all. This is if you are aiming 5/5 wise.
