Private Server Discussion

So at this point mobius Final Fantasy's Servers are offically down. So that should be the end of it til they wanna bring it back right? not entirely. Private Servers will probably be made since this was VERY cherished among its community. So if we hear any news and info make sure to let the community know by posting here.

Im sure its possible since other Square enix games MMO wisae got private servers. The problem is how long til we can get one up and running especially with the amount of players to expect that want to return.

I'm not sure whether a clean download contain all the content since the release or not. Every clean download I was downloading files, so I wonder what events possible private server will have. The "shortage" of players isn't really a problem, imo. FFXI private servers aren't really popular and they're still up and running. In any case, do you know any gacha games with private servers?

this might not help but Final Fantasy Dimensions 2 used to gacha game like Kingdom Hearts Union X, they removed the internet and gacha elements and turned it into a single player game, so i hope it happens with Mobius FF, i put 500 hours into it to find out the servers shut down

I just want this game back. I wouldn't mind paying for access to a private server.

if they do not release the files to make a server you will never see any private...if they do you could provbably see something ...soon..if they also release the tool to make videos..for sure there will be some private truly better then the original . The point is..there should be someone that want to relese the files. Or someone that reverse engine the server role and make a completely new one...i dont belive this option is easly done would need 1 - 2 years of work, with a not 100% result.
