Best Job Cards?

I've been playing for about a year and a half and have 72 job cards of the - I guess - 101 jobs now out. I am sure everyone has a favorite job so what's yours and why? Mine is the Magitek Heroine because she is the first job I have that can use 4 ultimates...Meteor, Ultima, Gotterdammerung and whatever ultimate support card. What is the top ranked job now anyway? Magitek Heroine has 3 jobs above her.

New jobs are always better in general than old ones - that is the nature of most games, especially those in which players summon for things with in game currency... power creep.

Though most newer jobs starting with prima donna sarah job and on are all excellent. The new graff and sophie jobs wont be particularly amazing until they get legend jobs, but they are still better than most other normal jobs.

The EX jobs are top tier, obviously, and so are kefka and terra. Prima donna, proud cygnus, yuffie and rikku sarah jobs are all great. Not a coincidence i just named most of the last 8 months of jobs and none of those before that timeframe.

There is no single job better than any other; it is cards you have to use and the relative strength of the weapons you have boosted for jobs that can use them that matters. Newer jobs have better stats and bonuses and better ults...

I still remember the time when Master Monk was out and it was like OMG WOW Best job ever!
Well it's still not bad but definitely we have better monk choices now.

Grapler! old but GOLD!, can use Brother, NeoXdeath, Yiazmat and Braska final Aeon. can't deal many damage unlike the newest hybrid breaker job, but, as classic breaker, he can almost break anything!. my grapler now have 340 piercing break, 3,8k break, 4 jcr and 8* of defense!

What do you guys think about Sophie and Graf jobs and the characters overall? I can't bring myself to play either of them - to me they just don't fit in and S2 story is boring so far. Plus Sophie is simply annoying. Has any Sophie or Graf job any redeeming quaility?

As of yet, NO. Currently the job list goes kinda like this :
1. Ex jobs (by far the best out there)
2. Non onion/starter Meia/Sarah jobs
3. Legend WoL jobs
4. WoL jobs/onion/starter Meia/Sarah jobs
5. Onion WoL/Sophie/Graf jobs

Theres a reason noone uses Sophie or Graf :D.

As a character Sophie is like a meh for me, and some times I simply don't like her comments. But actually I like Graff a little more (at least on some scenes of his chapters, seems to be the classic "honorable warrior"). Probably they need more story and background to see how interesting they can be. As a job I don't really enjoy to play any sophie or graff job. May be I will play more with Graff when we get his seifer legendary job, but for now I like to play others characters/jobs.
I don't know if S2 is "boring" but I really really hate wol chapters with his ♥♥♥♥♥ town missions on farming and haunting and farming and talking people and farming again ... the rest of the story isn't that bad (chapter 5,6,7 on the first season was worse in my opinion).

I don't like the way Sophie looks, plays, or her weapons. Graf is almost as bad but even his onion job is leaps and bounds ahead of other warrior jobs in break and attack, even after many of their hofs.

Shorn One is one of my favorites for his versatility but I'm waiting for the next mp bosses to try the new ex warrior. Ex monk and ranger are good too.

It's not possible to remove overboosters from old jobs to give to new ones is it?

But... but... but .... Shopie Wild Rider job is one of my favorite, ... it is still my best earth attacker with BFA so far.
And this week i am in 34th rank in score using this job ....
I tried the same deck with other Wol monk, but no body can same battle score....

i dont really think how well a job does for weekly score rank capability with a supreme damage card is a good way to evaluate how good it is... sure it is decent with earth, and for a normal job it isnt bad... but it also isnt that great, and there really are no great sophie weapons yet either - so any potential is capped low. if weekly score is how you'd evaluate a good job, yeah sure - she is just fine. but she is doing nothing for you in hard content like towers or EW, as she cant really break, and the few opportunities to kill a wind enemy over the bar aren't going to carry you.

Also, tanking jobs have gotten me farther than I had hoped but don't score as high.
