Inconsistent camera panning

I'm really enjoying the visual style of the game, but in my limited time with the game so far, I've been frustrated at times trying to pan the camera around the scene. It feels like the camera is getting "stuck" trying to get around the corners of the scene, if that makes sense. Sometimes it will get harder to pan to the point where the camera barely moves at all, it takes flinging the mouse repeatedly in one direction to get it "unstuck". Regardless of the zoom and location of the camera, it woud be nice if the same mouse movements panned the camera the same distance every time.

And as a semi-related feature request, it would be nice if there were keys for moving the camera around, I'm always a fan of games that can be completely controlled by the keyboard. Thanks!
