Game is stuck on the "codemasters" screen

Hello everyone !

So Ive got this problem since I bought the game.
When I am trying to run it, I dont even get to the main menu, its just stuck on the codemasters screen. I have tried a few things to solve this issue - eventho I havent really found much help online - but unfortunately none of them worked. I have read that some other people also run into this issue, so Im guessing theres is a solution to this.

Any help or stories with similiar issues and how to solve them would be great.

are you being serious ? ( see this is the problem in todays world, you can not trust the devs anymore, and eventho I dont know you, you can easily make me confused about this game... )

The game was a troll in the sense that it just hasnt got enough content, especially weapons, and the lack of slipstreaming that was present in toybox is annoying

I still like this game though, dispite its shortcomings

Have you tried to verify cache? Or reinstall the game? I'm afriad I can't offer anymore help outside of that

If you do get it working, feel free to hit me up a friend request, hardly anyone plays this game but there is a small bunch of us who play :)

yeah I did try verifying, did not work
not sure about the reinstall bit ( ive just installed it - and it did not work at all.... EVER )

okey guys I managed to fix it,
all I had to do is to install the latest version of microsoft visual c++
works fine ever since
