You do not own nidhogg, so its hard for me to see how your input can be of any value.
In the first game the characters were thin, nimble and skilled. Not they are chubby clumsy monsters.
Frog babies jumping around. Nimble as ♥♥♥♥.
And i think the community would be less raging if they would actually look like healthy frogs. but they don't... They do not...
Yeah, I'm in this boat as well. The ugly 1 bit art-style of the first one and lack of art design turned me off from ever wanting to pick it up. This one has an interesting art style and is grabbing me, visually. Can't wait to play it. I don't understand what everyone is complaining about.
I´m just wondering what´s the difference from the first game to the second except the artstyle
Different maps. 4 different weapons (you can enable/disable them) with weapon rotation: rapier, broadsword, dagger, bow. Other than that, not much. Still only 1v1 with tournament mode up to 8 players, lots of variants, etc.
Its a definite buy if there is a steamworkshop or a map editor for it, otherwise than that its hard to say if its worht it. Thanks for quick feedback Lachouette
