Multiplayer in Pure Farming 2018?

Multiplayer is essential to me. If this game will have multiplayer and sandbox (like Farming Simulator) I and my friends will pre-order, so I'm interested too :)

Just to add to this suggestion/question, although it has been discussed quite a bit, Farming Simulator has had multiplayer since 2011. I'm curious at what point of PF development they decided not to include multiplayer as a core feature? Not saying it's necessary, there are both arguements for and against. However, IMHO FS is currently PF's top competitor, so leaving out MP seems like an odd decision. I also believe that there are probably several potential buyers on the fence, or on the other side of it, with it currently lacking MP as far as we know.

It's quite interesting. Because when the game was announced/revealed back when the name was "Pure Farming 17: The Simulator" a 4player co-op type was advertised and personally I would've been happy with just that for the time being, and that it was only being releasing on PC at that time. But when they announced is was being delayed and releasing as Pure Farming 2018 no sign of that mp/co-op and was now not only releasing on PC but also consoles.

Hey guys, we've designed Pure Farming as a single player game with many, many hours of SP content across a full campaign mode, 20 farming challenges and the Free Farming sandbox mode. We are hearing that people would like to see multiplayer in the future so that's obviously feedback we're taking on board. MP won't be in the game for launch but we are looking into it for a potential update later on.

No multiplayer = no buy for us. We play FS17 with friends, no multiplayer will be a no buy for us and we will stick with Giants and the upcoming FS19.

FS series first release was in 2008. They didn't come up with the MP for another few years. The thing is Giants never listen to the community. These guys DO! So yes, instead of bashing IceFlames you can support them and wait for the MP to be implemented.

Or maybe you are OK with the Giants being the only farming game provider. Good for you then.

I'm buying PF2018 no matter what just to support these guys because I know they can make Giants run for their money.

I would like the Multiplayer implemented as well at some point but it did not stop me from purchasing the game. My wife and I currently play FS17 Multiplayer around 16 to 24 hours a week. I am still looking forward to playing and checking out PF18 in 10 days.

Why not go above and beyond ? Evolve the game and make it Massively Multiplayer Open World !! And add new ideas never before seen in farming simulation games ! its time.


All the so called "New games" since 1999 are just copied games / game play; with better graphics. I wish someone would finially evolve the gaming world.


This one does have a few "New" ideas in it, such as fruit orchids, and quest system. So thats why i will play it :) Thanks
