Pigs and potatos

Do you need a special trailer to feed potatos to the pigs. I can give them prepared fodder, but when I take my trailer of potatos by the input place, I can select Transfer but nothing happens.

Hi Sarge68, I'm experiencing the same issue. When trying to fill the sty in between the vehicle shop and the apple orchard on the Montana map using the Metaltech DB8. I drive next to the unload point, press "X" (using a controller) and nothing happens. I can hear the unload sound but nothing is transfered from the trailer.

Hey guys,

With pigs, you should put the potatoes in a special steamer visible next to the pigsty, using front loader. Alternatively, you can buy ready food using a palette near the pigsty.

I have this problem too.
We hope to improve it as soon as possible ...
I tried every existing trailer, even the potato harvester, but none of them could unload the potatoes in the apple garden next to the pig's hens.

The solution is to buy the pigs next to the farm and any potatoes from the potato harvester can be loaded from any trailer.

put it in using a front loader....

how to get the potatoes from the trailer into the front loader?
how to fill the bucket of the front loader at all?
or do we have to drive from the potato shed to the pigs for each single bucket?

sorry, just asking in advance, didn't try it yet.

Hi All, I have got the front end loader for the tractor working and I'm able to fill the potato steamer next to the sty. However, I'm encountering a problem where the steamer will no longer convert unprepared food into prepared food. I can hear the steamer "motor" sound but nothing happens (its like the "motor" sound is stuck on). The prepared food is at 20% and will not go up no matter how much I fill the unprepared. I'm experencing this issue on patch 1.1.1 and 1.1.2.

I was able to transfer potatoes from the smallest trailer in the game to the steamer with no problems.
