Yes, you can approach a vehicle and you should see an option to sell it. Alternatively, scroll to the bottom of the vehicle store on the tablet and there is an option sell machines there.

does selling via the store give more money than directly via tabled standing in the farmyard?

store gives I think in the E-mails 20% or more for trades and off the price too, tab is the wrong way to go on anything be it tarckors or crops or land, anything, lol
