Thank you for your reply:)
May I see your video interested to see it :)
Why do you say I should wait for FS 19?
Mind you i have made my mind up to wait for FS 19
Nice video thank you for sharing :0 To be fair does look like a good game bit buggy like the green houses though hope FS 19 has them
ludzie FS19 jeszcze nie wyszedł więc nie mówcie że będzie leszy od PF18. PF18 to jest bardzo dobra gra.
One large downside for me is how much work you do on a particular field compared to FS17 and the time it takes to complete that work. The movement rate of vehicles in this game is disproportionate to the space visually. The impact of that means that your first field will take you over 1.5 hours to Plow, Cultivate, Seed, Fertilize, Harvest and that's with the best gear in the game. Your profit for doing all that from 1 field, about $5k. Doing the same thing on 5-8 fields in FS17 is possible and would yield much greater profits, but of course the scale of the costs are different. To me, it just goes too slow for the tasks.
Worker AI was improved, but still is very poor to FS17. Sometimes it will fail and if it doesn't, it just takes too dang long to complete a field.
I also don't like how the machinery upgrades don't feel significant. Their highest tier upgrade is what should be the starting point for the worst gear and then continue on from there as it still takes so long with the best gear to do the tasks required.
Just my two cents...I picked up the heavy equipment bundle the other day for FS17 and pre--purchased FS19. I usually check in PF18 every so often to see when it will be a true complete game with core mechanics working with player and AI.

Doing everything yourself is possible when you only have a couple of fields, but when you expand beyond that it isn't doable without AI workers and they just don't function correctly yet.
PF has some interesting ideas and new things. The orchards and the campaign are fun for a bit, but they quickly become stale.
Overall, FS17 is a better game (even with the old complaint that Giants isn't as innovative as the modders on their own games). I don't think that PF will see as much of a modding community as FS does for quite a while. Sure, a few disgruntled modders will jump ship, but there are more developers than ever getting into the farm sim genre and Giants has the most open modding interface. Hell, even a fossil like me can figure out a bit of XML and some LUA scripting and make FS more what I want.
Another item to pay attention to is that Giants FINALLY got Deere licensing. The release of FS19 is liable to see a HUGE influx of new players as the Deere fanboys jump into the game. Maybe that will finally give Giants the cash influx they need to hire some more programmers and get working on implementing new stuff.
Great reply thank you ... I am going to wait for FS 19 instead :) Shame about PF 18 as for what i have seen in videos look good i like the greenhouses etc be nice if we could go instead them do watering etc... Hope FS 19 as that kind of thing..
