One tractor to rule them all...

Having recently bought the Lindner Geotrac 134ep from the Steam store, I naturally sold my tiny starter tractor at the beginning of a new game and took possession of my new free tractor. Straight away the first thing I notice is that the Lindner takes off like a rocket, and seems to have no trouble at all dragging even the largest plow and cultivator in the game. In fact, after several hours of use, I have yet to find a piece of equipment it CAN'T pull. Of course I found this strange given its lowly 144HP engine, so I decided to do a comparison with other tractors, by pulling the 12000L water tank while full.

I bought the following:

JCB 4220
HP: 230
Class: Heavy tractor

JCB Fastrac 8330
HP: 348
Class: Heavy tractor

McCormick X7 670
HP: 212
Class: Heavy tractor

Surprisingly, all of these tractors struggled to reach top speed (and in the case of the smaller JCB and McCormick couldn't even reach top speed) pulling the water trailer, while the Lindner Geotrac seems to be able to pull a full water tank without even breaking a sweat. This doesn't exactly reflect the available horsepower of the tractor well, and to me kind of smacks of giving us an overpowered, unrealistic machine simply because we've paid a few bucks for it.

I really feel this needs to be looked at seriously, because anybody who's bought this DLC doesn't really have much incentive to buy anything other than an entire fleet of Lindner Geotracs.

Yes i can agree that Lindner Geotrac 134ep is really too powerfull considering it has only 144HP. Thats why i stoped using it cuz it feels like cheating. What a shame.

Bad idea that it's free ingame the DLC content.
All DLC tractors must have an ingame price.

Only the first one is free. You still have to pay full price for every one you buy after the first.

This reminds me of Professional Farmer 2014. In that game, the Lindner Geotrac 134ep is the most powerful tractor available; the developers beefed it up to over 360 hp if I recall correctly. Is that what's going on here as well?

Maybe it has bags of torque instead of HP? ;o) I wish I could bump up the power - it was so easy in FS! Will have to wait for a mod? The DAF XF Euro 6 could definately do with an engine upgrade to get it off the line at an angle!!!

yes, i have them all checked but it's not offering any of them in the shop for free?

yes, there are free dlc's. to see them, click on dlc under the game picture.

if you bought the de luxe version you should have all of them installed. but you can check it.

si, hay dlc's gratuitos. para verlos, debajo de la foto del juego pincha en dlc

si compraste la version de luxe deberias tener todos instalados. pero puedes comprobarlo

my problem is in the shop there should be a number of tractors/itmes that are free for the first purchase but arn't unlike some others have stated was this changed in an update ro do i need to be a certain level or beta version for this feature?

there are several free dlc. some of them are tractors. these are free for everyone who has the game. i bought the deluxe version so i got them all (free and no-free) in the first installation.
when you buy a game/dlc... it tells you what it includes.
dlc's you've got must be in propierties. if you don't have them there, or you don't get them or there is a problem, then contact steam.
