How to Empty baler? (When NOT FULL)?>
I have the round baler - and if I am done with a field say with Rye - and I DON'T have a full bale - I CANNOT go start baling say wheat BECAUSE I still have Rye in my baler! Question is - HOW to I get that Rye OUT of the baler so I can change/start baling a DIFFERENT grass/straw? Please help! Thanks

Well I don't know, but if it works like Farming Sim. does. you don't need to the wheat takes over the baler(it what comes out)

what about taking note of how much straw to make a bale. then when baling and you get down to only a little left. stop and don't bale any more, and leave it on the ground.

is that really so difficult.

is really ridiculous, because straw is straw! this is just a dumb bug.

com' on...
it is okay that straw does not turn into grass like it does in Giants' FS.

it would be nice if we could empty a bunch of straw manually if we want to start a grass bale.
like in real life. a farmer would not leave a big bunch on the field, but he would push it out in the yard when he needs to start another product with the baler.

but he would be able to bale straw from rye over straw from wheat and vice versa.
straw is just straw.
as it is now, it's fairly to be called ridiculous.

YES it really is so difficult because like Kaeru said - You wouldn't just leave a BUNCH left, laying on the field. So to do that in a Farming "Simulator" is definitely a dumb bug as they said. Of COURSE I knew to do that - but that was the REASON for the whole post! Is to NOT leave it lay on the field! Is THAT so difficult to understand WHY someone would ask? I really HATE idiots who reply to legitimate posts with the "Holier than Thou" attitude or that others are dumb for asking. It's much better if you just DON'T exist - really...is it THAT difficult?

THANK YOU Kaeru! I appreciate the sensical and NORMAL response!

It's not a great solution but if you transport abroad it may strip the remaining straw out of it? I tend to agree though - straw is straw - IRL the baler wouldn't refuse to bale a different type of straw! I think the 'nanny rules' can be relaxed a lot actually. I want a worker to work on a field [say fertilising] and the amount of times it says not required and it is 40% and lets me do it manually! It should let us waste our time if that's the case anyway - our fault for working a field twice!

Well I agree that it does seem a bit weird, but I do this all the time. If I'm coming near the end of the straw or grass or whatever, and I don't think I have enough left for two bales I'll just make one and leave the rest lie. It will plow under or cultivate under and be of no issue.

And yes I understand that a real life farmer would not do this. By the way a real life farmer would not be farming on his computer so this is not real anyway. YES/NO ??

actually a real life farmer does spend lots of time on his computer, so much so these days modern farm equipment has more pc power than most desktops

Edit: as a side note go visit a large hog operation, pigs either have an implant or ear tag that the computer system reads and delivers the exact amount of feed. All of this is ran by a computer system that even 'reminds' the farmer which pigs to rotate from breeding barn/gestation pens, farrowing barn, weaning, etc etc, all ran by computers. Not to forget the computer system to monitor the ventilation, heating, cooling etc.

A lot more to it but thats just one example.

The whole point of a "Simulator" is to do just that....Simulate (Insert word...Simulator). Which is WHY the "Simulator" industry is so large, BECAUSE of the fact that you can jump into many different professions, jobs, vehicles, etc. that we normally probably don't do on a real basis. So anything a Simulator DOESN'T provide - just distances said Simulator from the real life. (Within reason - and a simple thing like collecting straw/hay off the ground isn't anything far fetched. ESPECIALLY since the action of doing so ALREADY exists in the game!). AND - the answer already exists in the game too! IF your planter/driller for example is "partially" full - it will sell what's left if you fill it with something else! So allow the "extra" grass/straw/hay - to be sold at the barn (or wherever)

MUCH MUCH better - and it accomplished way more than what you had to offer! So yes, it did!

Don't see "Simulator" anywhere in the game Title or Description. This is nothing but a console arcade game. Not even close to a simulator.
bigsnag Apr 3, 2018 @ 8:43pm
so one is now able to fill the baler with both rye straw and wheat straw?

You're removing the ENTIRE PURPOSE of the example! You can argue/debate if a stupid word is in a title or not lmao! That's NOT THE POINT. The point is functionailty of the game. Wather it's a simulator - or as you like to say "arcade" - fine - let's say you win - and it's an arcade- the FUNCTION of the issue brought up should STILL work - SINCE it does the EXACT same thing with OTHER features in the exact same game (allowing you to sell/empty a trailer, device by selling whats left!) <--- Doesn't matter what's in the stupid title of a game lmao

No idea what you are trying to say - or troll about - why not just leave. You've not been a help AT all one, and two even provided a simple argument with anything of sense! Therefore you're existence at least on THIS post - is WORTHLESS!
