From the makers of ORBIT: The Liar King

Oct 27

Thanks for playing ORBIT!

If you like watching a score explode, we've got another one on the way. Meet The Liar King.

Liar's dice, turned roguelite

Five dice under your cup, five under your rival's. Call how many dice of one face there are on the whole table, raise the call… or shout LIAR! and lift the cups. Whoever got it wrong loses a die.

Every reveal you win scores die by die, amulet by amulet, until the ROYAL STRIKE! costs your rival one more die.
Every lie your rival sneaks past you is chalked up on the Slate. Catch them with two on the board and your score doubles.
Eight kingdoms, eight kings who cheat in plain sight. King Blaze rerolls your dice mid-duel, King Orio buys his innocence with gold and King Tide swaps a die with the tide. Five more are waiting down the road.

Out on Steam in March 2027. Add it to your wishlist and Steam will tell you the moment it's out:

Something I forgot to mention about quitting the game

Yesterday I had trouble finding how to shut down the game and ended used the x button in windowed mode upper right corner. Today I finally found the exit button in the middle of the cluttered main menu, Also, QUIT is a far more commonly used english word for leaving a game, infact I cant remember seeing EXIT used in a great many years. Two issues with it. 1: Hard to find in main menu. 2: No confirmation prompt upon pressing it to protect against accidental click, instantly shuts down the game....

So far I'm really enjoying it. There aren't a whole lot that I've found but this is a bingo rougelike that still actually feels like bingo, if that makes sense. Though the screen is very full of information most of the time and that can make things seem a little overwhelming at first and I'm not really sure I'm following the story? Might be a translation issue. I'm also still working out some aspects on how to play though I am over an hour in, though am liking doing so. Though despite the minor rough edges or quibbles this is what I was looking for and I'm happy so I would recommend it if you like quirky roguelikes and bingo games.
