How to reset the game

Turn off cloud save for Zombie Defense. Play one short mission. Look at wall clock time.

Find your Steam directory and its userdata. Mine is at:
C: > Program Files (x86) > Steam > userdata > 14096584 >

Your may have a different filename then 14096584. It is the only file in userdata. The files inside that folder all have number folder names.

Look for the folder that has the correct date and time of your last ZD session. Rename that folder. I added "_test" to the folder name.

Run Zombie Defense and verify that it has started over (no progress, no upgrades).

Note: If for some reason that didn't work then you must have renamed the wrong folder. Go back and rename that folder to the original name so that you didn't mess up some other game save data.

It worked for me!

The only trick was, C: > Program Files (x86) > Steam > userdata had more than one folder on my system. But I opened the most recently-created folder and there was a subfolder with the exact date and time when I fished the mission, and renaming that folder started me with a fresh game.
