Looking for same option . I deleted all keys in reg ( read somewhere else that unity stores key in the registry ) but it just deleted graphics options , not the progression .

I went so far as to delete the whole game (steam has an option to "delete all local game files" which claims to "delete all game content from this computer"). Then I had to re-download and re-install the game, but my progress was still saved and not reset.

The game is using the steam cloud for save and stats. This data will always override or restore lost files.

I asked directly the dev , and he said :

You can do it "manually" in a bit complicated way:
1) if you are logged in to our "Cloud Save" option in main menu, logout, then exit game.
2) from game properties (right click on game in Steam, then click Properties), in Updates window turn off "Enable Steam Cloud synchronization" option.
3) open folder with your Steam installation - usually C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\[your account id here]\533780 and delete all files and folders from there.
4) launch game, finish first mission.
5) exit game, turn on "Enable Steam Cloud synchronization" option.
6) launch game, Steam will show message about Cloud Saves conflict, select "Local files" option.

I tried, this is working :)
