Every second you play this game makes it slightly easier, it's just a question of how much time you're prepared to invest (or how happy you are to let the game run quietly in the corner while you watch something else).
Just started playing this game and I can't drop down more than three guys? Probably isn't the best place to post this question but you seem to have it figured out so maybe you can help.
Wow. Now I feel stupid for not checking there first. Thanks for the answer and for the quick reply.
Gives you more scope to experiment too, like trying levels using nothing but APCs and a single unit, or with enough upgrades you can field a single high-powered unit (like the Commando) right at the start, just to see how it fares.
And still, despite being 2/3 through the campaign, that very first bonus mission remains the best earner. I've earned over 40K on a couple of later missions but they required getting three stars, and take ages. I can get 30K on the first bonus mission without going past the first "mission complete" point, and it's quick as hell.
As opposed to contstantly replaying first mission to get money for overpowered units? Single player games can be played the way players wishes.
