because your fellow student will form Cliques them selfs, and be better off for it, if you take too many member in your own cliques you rub the opportunities for your fellow mages to from their own cliques.
and you want your fellow mages to be as capable as possible for the most part.
Since that post I've gotten up to 35 as my best. Not even really a Clique at that point and more of a personal army.
lol yeah those clique benefit seem nice but the best part of the game is that there is a bigger part of the game that is every one of your class mates interact with the world. i would just do a small cliques with members that i want to do adventure with.
