We get fighter/wizard/stealth/charisma D&Dification and everyone called it weeks ago. I'm going to call it right now that this game is going to be very linear and the dialogue will be three shades of the same thing with the exact same results. The reason we know this is because had you included the clans everyone actually wanted, like Malkavian and Nosferatu, you'd have to change the dialogue and story to accommodate it.
Here, you won't have to change anything and I bet my bottom doller clan won't mean squat except for the occasional "You are a Ventrue..." (Segue into canned dialogue that's the same for everyone).
I guess the amazing pitch you guys got wasn't the cool story and amazing game design, it was "we can do this cheap".
A game from 2004 had more diversity of choice and malleability. Let that sink in.
No Lasombra and no Malkavian!
Do tell me two things...
First: For what did I "pay" you 90€ for the Bloodmoon Edition, soon to be 5 years ago?
Second question: Is it "too soon" wanting Hardsuit Labs back?
Given this non-sequitur of a comment, I actually believe you don't know what the word misogynist means.
No, because apparently women can't be misandist. We woman are oppressed, and because we have no power we can be as hateful to men as we like. Women just don't have any agency or responsibility because patriarchy exists.
Then again, if I complain about ugly women in games I get accused of "internalized misogyny" anyway.
That would be a interesting social experiment, I would be curious to see the results amongst a wide audience. I do recall a article once that had the title "Body positivity is for women, not lazy white guys with dad bods" and several others that echoed that opinion.
But, I do want to say I find myself modding more modern games to make my male character models to look more visually appealing. Maybe not as much as the female models though.
This IP seems cursed.
