Not true. It has been TBC for a very long time, and now it displays as DEC 2023. Not officially confirmed but def a good sign.

Same, gone for me again as well. I was pretty surprised when I noticed the change to dec23 yesterday. But until this game ships out I don't believe there is a game. I lost track for how many years I've wishlisted this...

Yeah, it's "Coming Soon" for me. Maybe somebody saw this topic and realized people actually thought this game had a real release date, so they changed it to what has to be a verrry generous interpretation of "soon".

Well it looks like Valve forced the change and Paradox reacted by giving us what they feel is best with the new options available:

The exact date. “Aug 24, 2023”
Month-and-year. “August 2023”
The quarter of the calendar year. “Q3 2023”
The year. "2023"
No date at all. “Coming Soon”

Notice how "Coming Soon" can mean any date... and Paradox did not pick The year. "2023"

So, "Coming Soon" could be next year or the one after... or it could really be soon... whatever we think would be soon.

Well, I'm completely turned off by the prospect of the game and it's now been moved to around 75 on the wishlist, I think its only purpose of existence is to taunt the investors into not taking everything back and bankrupting the company, but the game imho has been shelved forever.

Remember, whatever Steam says RE this game is almost completely irrelevant. Any actual confirmed updates on development progress or release date are posted directly to the VTM:B2 website.

The last update the project managers/ remaining lead devs actually posted themselves was February 2021...... pretty safe to say that any perceived changes showing on Steam are just automated/place holder.

The CEO do mention Bloodlines 2 every year and in the latest info he gave hints at a release this year, but he also said they will not give us a date until they are 100% sure, because of what happen last time.

i'm not holding my breath the company is most likely going to add some garbage woke crap to the game like so many others to virtue signal and ruin the overall story with it. that or the company is trying not to add modern garbage politics to the game and none of the company's creating are willing to do that. but overall i don't see it coming out soon they hinted at starting over on the development in 2022 so it may be another 5 years before it comes out.
