Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2

Mod potential
What would you like to see from mods? Are we even sure mods will be supported? Will they be made anyway?

First on my mod list would be the ability to USE and bind all the skills I have, NOT only 4. Hoping someone makes that soon - I have no experience with that, but maybe that'd be relatively easy to do?

I'm sure there'll be attempts to get rid of Fabien, etc, and general overhauls - but those'll take a while, if they're even possible.

total conversion to literally anything else.

but seriously, probably the last bastion for this game will be the quality of the ue5 environments and sound design. VTMB1 manages to be especially evocative with its simplistic maps and stock Source sfx, so if they can replicate that people might be inspired to create some good standalone story mods.

nearly every aspect of gameplay will need overhauling too... dialogue choices & perspective, character progression, weapons, etc. if the game is moderately successful the top mod might be something that introduces a lot of Bloodlines 1 mechanics. similar to Fallout 4 but a lot more work.

Appearance, mostly i.e hairstyles, outfits, face overhaul...

But the first mods to come to any current game are always reshade, nude or stupid ones, anyway.

1st person dialogue would make a big difference, but you'd still have Phyre rambling off screen between responses.

But we'd only have Phyre rambling off-screen if speaking to Fabien.
Remove Fabien...stops the rambling (Save that for the Malkavians) and allows unintended actions/consequences.
But I agree, 1st person dialogue would help a lot.

I really hope after the devs are done with this game they release mod tools, or just open up the whole thing and make the code open source.

If they don't release mod tools, the game would need to be successfull enough to entice people that can work on UE5 to actually make mods otherwise you'd probably only be able to find some reshade mods.
