If by "finish" you mean "throw everything except for the setting and some characters out the window and then make their own game," then yes.
They've kept the combat mechanics, the heightened senses and they have confirmed social feeding will grant clan specific elements.
There wasn't even an intimidation skill check in the dialogue options.
also they apparently removed the resonance system, we now get "blood pips" as the creative director said.
and being stuck with a premade character, independent of it's gender and sexuality is so out of touch with rpg's as a whole that it bafles me, not even oneshots are fun with premade characters. why would it be in a AAA game?
i was excited for this game but now all my hype has faded.
For now I have decided to remove the game from my wishlist. If it turns out amazing (which I still hope it does) despite what we've seen so far then I'm sure I'll see/hear about it and end up playing it anyway. Until then I'm going to try to forget that it was ever even a thing.
PR for you...Some Devs will take feedback with a view to improving the game. Some will ignore the feedback (Through either not having the funds to make wholesale changes or through utter arrogance that they are right). When you start seeing players on mass being banned/silenced who all bring up the same valid issues, that's your confirmation the Devs want players to get behind the game no matter what.
That being said, it also depends on how constructive the feedback is. If it just becomes harassment and gatekeeping then yeah I can see why players can be banned. And when it comes to something you are emotionally invested in, feedback can quickly turn to harassment.
What I hate, is that it's perfectly acceptable to ban players who negatively gatekeep the community without constructive feedback yet planted players shilling the game and not acknowledging then concerns of the players just to push the Devs PR for them is also gatekeeping and yet it goes on without punishment. And the shills normally are the 1's who gaslight players into being banned because said concerns are being ignored for the sake of PR.
Funny thing they give me warning long ago about "aggressive attitude" after i said is Main character idiot and can't use melee or range weapon, i didn't say anything to any devs or so, and now someone said how dev on video was not happy and he can feel his pain, people start attack him mods to, i said also something totally not ofensive to devs or anyone and they ban me and give me reason "you was warned before about aggressive attitude" what attitude?

It won't help people had posts and posts on Cyberpunk 2077 forum for 3rd person good posts, and devs never said a thing mostly moderator who take their side even if CDPR reasons was stupid or wrong.
