For constructive opinions, also to gain visibility with devs watching forums and not forget how important is for a part of the gamer population have third person view. After all delivering wishes is more money amd more customers.
Why someone like these trolls here are disdaining or promote denying third person. Who would want to degrade play experience of others with different taste? Adding third person doesnt detract first person experience.
Is an easy fix than devs could implement in less than half hour and test it during ten minutes, not asking for heaven and hell to be implemented as transitable territory or anything, is just an extra camera control.
I for one would be willing to pay to have the option of 3rd person here as well.
You directed your comment to the wrong person. OP was literally responding in the same way as Rare Sunderland, who also didn't want to hear another's opinion. They literally said, "Who cares. If it's only first person and you don't like it, then dont play it. Simple as."
I mean, that's not just expressing an opinion that's completely denying and invalidating the OP's opinion and standpoint. Might as well say why come to forums if don't want to see others' opinions 🙄
Plus, As I said above it CAN happen...Not guaranteed of course but guess what? It definitely won't if people don't say/express their opinion on it.
Totally understandable. By the way I love your emojis 😁
And I get what you are saying too regarding the comments too much of that on the internet & worse lol. I once wrote up a whole post about constructive feedback but that's a topic for another post.
Take care 😁
I' want to show you with an example; I bought Cyberpunk and DLC because I extremely love both the cyberpunk setting and rpgs, but I still not launched the game because when I think I'll be stuck in first point of view lazyness grows in me, like waves of lazyness. Is sad because I know I would love the game, but I have strong feelings to not play like this all the time. It would be ok for a dead space game (fps) or similar, I liked fps sometimes, but I can't stand a first person rpg.
I have enough games to play to delay those than I REALLY WOULD LOVE to if they weren't first person only. But at some point, I plan to mod it and feel liberated of feeling limited.
I hope Bloodlines 2 is not a punishment like Cyberpunk has been for players like me. Games can drive me crazy wishing to play them but paralyzed because I strongly dislike first person view for rpgs.
If at least where 50/50.... I have starfield and I like to use first person view when shooting inside enclosed base missions. I don't think I am special, my feeling has to be more common than you think. Thanks for understanding.
Exactly I have greatly enjoyed Cyberpunk 2077 but my biggest gripe is the lack of 3rd person option. They have a decent character creator and detailed clothing but what's the point when you never get to see your character? I enjoy first person while I am doing something in a game but like 3rd person for the in between times to enjoy my character.
I get that the first person perspective allows for very immersive moments in the gameplay and cyberpunk does succeed in that here and there.
But on the other hand an RPG with forced first person doesn't allow me to connect with the character I'm customizing nearly as well as an RPG with third person.
I never felt connected with V in any way in Cyberpunk, which was totally different than Gerald in Witcher 3 or even my own characters in other RPG's like Skyrim / BG3 and the original Bloodlines.
Might not buy the game because of it to be honest.
Completely agree with Cyberpunk comments. A lot to love in that game, but being forced in first person was the worst part of it. Really creates a disconnect with my character and is a waste of all the effort put into customization.
I completely feel you on the Cyberpunk thing. I have played it and beat it but thought out my play through I kept finding myself getting annoyed that couldn't see my own character. I would literally only drive motorcycles so I could at least see my character when traveling
After all, it is only an option being asked.
They also have the choice of linking the camera movement directly to the third person character animation when not in third person, which feels horrible. I'm far happier with the floaty cam feel where the player movement is not linked to the characters feet in any way.
