art doesn't work that way.
a game can be fully functional and bugless and still soulless and bland
Not that CP2077 wasn't a run away success. It was! 10,000,000 sales during its first month and that number has since doubled. If you're suggesting that Bloodlines 2 is only going to sell 20,000,000 copies, I suspect Paradox will learn to cope with that grief. lol
people praise bloodlines for the writing, but the voice actors were all amazing. and the soundtrack was amazing. and the hub world design was amazing for the time. and the character sheet and its uses. etc etc.
the AI is pretty good, but not great though. I'm doing the hunter mission rn, and the hunters have conversations and search for you when you do stealth kills, but I easily stealth kill them all with obfuscate and nobody realized anything. I mean, it's not F.E.A.R. level AI, but then again, that's true for 2023 games too.
the game would be less without any of those, you see my point?
and don't put words in people's mouths.
Hmmm... you are talking Paradox here, "Good A.I." is not part of their vocabulary. ;)
