An internal pitch can also include a third-party studio. Which it probably is.
Paradox’s whole deal are grand strategy games and simulators. There’s no way they have an internal studio set up to make Unreal Engine powered RPGs, that’s why the took a chance on Hardsuit.
Well yeah, they already said that they wanted the new studio to just focus on the game
We have no sure facts, but it has been said in other forums. "That Paradox's worst kept secret is that The Chinese Room(TCR) is working on Bloodlines 2".
There are just so many rumours, hints and teasers that points to that studio. They have hired a ton of RPG developers, two of those has stated public they are working on their
dream at TCR (one of the guys left Ubisoft after working there for 15 years and the other left Rocksteady, both famous RPG studios). TCR now have around 100 employees working on two games, one of them seems to be Bloodlines 2.
If you have a strong stomach for Internet "chat" and got a lot of time on your hand. This is forum thread that has collected a ton of info on bloodlines 2 and are still active with almost 600 pages of forum posts(warning - it is not as bad as 4chan, but at times it is similar...):

Wesp5 (Bloodlines 1 modding legend) often posts in the thread and he also seems to think that this is THE forum that catches most stuff about Bloodlines 2.
Here is a few links about Bloodlines 2 that I stored (I wish I had stored more, but most can be found in the forum thread I posted):

Furthermore one of the Job listing from The Chinese Room (TCR) wanted someone experienced with 1st and 3rd person RPGs, concerning combat with Melee, Firearms and spells/abilities.
TCR also teased an image from the game they took over. It was in Unreal Engine 4 and some folders we could see in the UE library made it look like a RPG of some kind.
TCR later announced that both of their games was being developed in UE5 (something I guessed and posted a while ago in this forum - they are converting Bloodlines 2 from UE4 to UE5 it seems).
In fact, Bloodlines 2's supposed development started *while* CCP still owned White Wolf, along with numerous other games based off of various White Wolf properties, including not one, but *two* attempts to adapt Vampire the masquerade, as well as the World of Darkness setting as a whole into MMO's. Both of which had actual playable demos shown off at E3, that were by all accounts from attendees, quite close to being finished games.
Despite that, CCP was unable to finish even *one* of the 30 plus games they had started, and to day, the only developer that has actually finished development of a game based off of *any* of White wolf's licensed was Terminal Reality/ Majesco, a company which by the way, White Wolf sued multiple times thourought the development of the Hunter the Reckoning games, delaying release of those games by several years, despite the court ultimately deciding White wolf itself was in breach of it's own contract.
Somewhere in the middle of that mess, Activision acted as publisher for two games based off of vampire the masquerade: redemption, and bloodlines. Bloodlines was released in an unfinished state in 2003, in a failed bid by Activision to literally beat Valve to having the first game on the source engine out. Troika, the developer ended up folding while being unpaid yet committing to patch the numerous bugs the unfinished release had. Redemption only managed to get made at all due to not being mentioned by name in a slew of lawsuits against it's developer, Nihilistic software, meaning we literally owe that game ever seeing the light of day to a filing error by White Wolf's attorney.
The entire reason why by the way, is White Wolf's habit of *suing* developers they license work out to. CCP's decision to purchase White Wolf outright was by all accounts because they could think of no other way to force White Wolf to cease litigation over the games they'd literally got the license to make. World of Darkness online's development by the way officially ended in 2011, 5 years *after* CCP showed off a playable demo at the 2006 E3 show. Vampire the Masquerade online's cancellation was finally confirmed to have happened in 2015, with CCP citing "irreconcileable differences" with White Wolf as the reason.
White Wolf even went so far as to actively litigate against one of the company's actual founders, Monte Cook, who is still currently embroiled in a legal rights battle for his works he wrote while owning one third of the company outright. That's right, White Wolf's literally still actively litigating against one of the company's founders and primary writers of all the game lines.
Why am I telling you this? So that you understand that the odds of us ever seeing Bloodlines 2 come out at all are slim to none. And it's literally all because White Wolf actively sabotages everyone they sell the license to in any way possible.
Quite frankly, it's nothing short of miraculous even one videogame adaptation in the setting has managed to come out, much less the 7 total to date out of over 80 announced.
The curse is real, huh.
Do you have any links to or of the CCP bloodlines 2 they supposedly worked on? You stated there was a Demo of it.
" In November 2018, after most of its staff were dismissed[4] for making controversial statements, it was announced that White Wolf would no longer function as an entity separate from Paradox Interactive. "
Thus it all depends on Paradox now, in any case.
All we can do is wait for something new to come out one way or another.
