I would rather be destroyed as Sabbat than join the Camarilla in those inferior conditions. But many LaSombra prefer to survive no matter what it costs.

After we believed that Gehenna arrived and we embraced masses and masses of neonates to create an army that would fight alongside Cain against the Antedeluvians, we were exposed. Cain never came to fight with us, the 3rd ones did not appear, only Zapa. Those that did appear were the inquisition with devices that detected our ghouls, incendiary bullets and agents that set our havens on fire during the day.

The gentleman gamer who has helped write several VtM books and is writing some of V5. He mentioned that Sabbath members returning from war with the elders could diabler some, so their numbers may be reduced but they may return with very powerful generations.

Wipe that grin off your face, it was the Camarilla trying to manipulate government agencies to destroy the Sabbat which lead to the Second Inquisition in the first place.
And you Sabbat goons fell for it, hilarious.

But on another note, I've recently heard that Gehenna itself may in fact be cyclical. With the Antedeluvians routinely destroying all of their progeny, before starting over with a new batch every few thousand years or so.

If this is true, then the Sabbat diablerizing all those sleeping Methuselahs is believed to be part of this cycle.

Yes, I heard that one, too. Every few thousand years reapers Antedeluvians come back to consume their progeny, thus in essence, allowing them to continue their existence through the coming millennia. Otherwise, kine would inevitably rise and destroy every supernatural entity in the world.

Oh, and of course every cycle a group of fiercely anti-Antedeluvian terrorists arises and claims to be the only power that recognizes and strives to overcome this ancient threat. Yet, the faction is, in fact, indoctrinated controlled by the Antedeluvians who use it to further their goals.

It does seem strangely familiar...
