Get your refunds
Steam allows refund on pre-orders up to the release date. Only catch is if the pre-order was made over 3 months ago the money goes to your steam wallet. Happy refunding!

i dont understand why people still pre-order, companies decided what their sales expectations are based on the wishlist feature on steam. Back before digital purchases started surpassing physical purchases, pre-orders told stores how many copies to purchase of a game, and that information was valuable kind of like testing the market to see how receptive a title would be, and even then it was only like 5 dollars for the store to hold your copy specifically. Now people are buying the game before they even know what the game is.

Use Wishlist to tell companies you will or wont buy their games.

I preordered the most expensive version of this game because I wanted to support the idea of games like the original Vampire Bloodlines.

But current events surrounding the firing of these two essential employees, combined with the modern societal shifts that have been going on over the last 10 years, are making me seriously reconsider my decision.

Perhaps it is best to leave Vampire Bloodlines without a sequel, if it's sequel is tainted by this stupid modern social justice movement.... I would rather have Bloodlines 2 never exist than suffer that fate.

.... i'm seriously considering a refund.

^ Literally this.

I would rather remember a good series for its highs than the apologetic lows that get forced in.
You know like when GoT should have ended a season or two earlier because ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ they killed that

If you live in Australia, the refund goes back to the card you purchased it with. Valve really doesn't want the lawsuits.

Also, I finally decided to cancel my pre-order after having it for almost a year. I'm not gonna jump on the Mitsoda band-wagon, more so the fact that there seems to be a lot of internal issues with Hardsuit.

If you want to keep your order, power to you, but I think they've lost a lot of sales over the past year or so.

current events should never influence your purchases. This game has more than just 2 people working on it. Brian has done his part, there is no excuse for him not being done with his writing duties.

I've seen this accusation a few times in the forums. Forgive me but I am not all caught up on the current drama. What exactly is tainted with "modern social justice movement"? Can you list the evidence or point me to an article that confirms this? (in a non sarcastic tone really). I saw something about choosing pronouns in character creation, but is that it in total?

There is an entire edition of WoD that has been gutted and toned down to more family friendly levels to reference, impossible to beleive the game would be different considering it is the same management

yeah, that's why all dev teams unceremoniously fire their leads when they're done

I mean it looked like utter trash when Mitsoda was there, now it might actually look like a game from the last 5 years, can't possibly get worse than what the gameplay trailers "showed off"

You guys saying you want to support the franchise at its highest and preordering this were already hypocrites blinded by nostalgia goggles. Imagine seeing that footage and thinking "yes, this looks good and nearly finished, I should give them my money right now"
COINCELPRO Sep 14, 2020 @ 7:25am
you're delusional, the game is in the exact same state

you're pointing out aspects of the game that were not Mitsoda's responsibility, so by your standards he's not the weak link

I decided after all 2 get a refund , but that is beacuse i need the money right now! Otherwise i could proberly await abit longer , due to the "series frenshise"

No demo, no news, all social media is silent af. I think me and wife gonna cancel the preorders if there is no news by the end of the month. They should have been like CP2077 dev team, transparent and showing changes, gameplay, the city...
