Ja, smiling jack was quite clear about shotguns leaving more than just a scratch to worry about.
No ammo management? No part upgrades?
Also, I think COD and FarCry aren't good exemples...
if els people whyo play with guns will fell it wierd. 2020, real aim or casual arcade like aiming? too lame
Are you so out of touch with the RPG genre that you would call Far Cry an RPG? Have you even played an RPG before? Anyone who has ever played RPG's (let alone anyone whose favorite genre is RPG like myself) would not only laugh their behinds off at your ignorance, but also feel insulted that you ever thought of claiming an obvious FPS like Far Cry is an RPG.
Ubisoft's own Uplay store page classifies Far Cry 5 as a "shooter" (and Far Cry New Dawn as an "open world action adventure") and makes no mention of RPG. Metacritic likewise classifies it as "shooter" and "action". The games in the Far Cry franchise have never been marketed as RPG's, never been advertised as RPG's and you are pretty much the only person I've come across referring to them as such (likewise for Call Of Duty).
Just FYI, having stats (especially superficial and basic stats like Far Cry does) or upgradable / unlockable abillities alone DOES NOT make a game an RPG (otherwise 80% of games nowadys would be RPG's). It takes a lot more than that in a lot of other areas for a game to become an RPG.
Educate yourself on videogame genres before posting such ridiculous bs. Or don't, in which case feel free to continue being an ignorant who can't be taken seriously by anyone who has played actual RPG's.
P.S. : Vtm : Bloodlines (and Vtm : Bloodlines 2) is an RPG. Go educate yourself on why it is one and why Far Cry is not and has never been one.
I'll make one last attempt reason with you (if this fails I will assume you are just trolling cause nobody can be that ignorant as to not know the difference between an RPG and a FPS).
Vtm : Bloodlines 2 is an RPG that can be played from a first person perspective. It is not a shooter and never was a shooter (just like a game isn't an RPG just because it has abilities to level-up, so too a game isn't a shooter just because it features guns as weapons players can use).
Cyberpunk is an RPG that features guns, yes. And also not the first RPG in history that uses guns and offers a first person perspective. Also, its not an RPS and has no resemblance whatsoever to Far Cry which is an FPS (again, Ubisoft themselves categorize it as such).
So what exactly is your point (besides trolling)? Everybody else in this thread (not to mention Ubisoft themselves) seems to know the difference between a first person RPG and a first person shooter (FPS) except you so at this point asking for FPS aiming in an RPG is clearly trolling.
Hopefully some moderator will lock this useless thread and hopefully you won't make another one just like it like most trolls do.
