Body Type?
So I was reading about how you can customize your character in this game (I can care less about the pronouns thing) and they mentioned you can choose your body type in it.

Does this mean I can be a big fat vampire or a comically buff one?

I just hope there will be options to make a unique character with sliders for body parts and muscle sliders. If we have bad luck, it will just be a 0815 body with just choice between 5 pre-made faces and some hair.

I'd really love if this game has fatness like Saints Row 2 or the Sims 3 and not Saints Row 4 or Fallout 4 where fat characters just look kind of broad and awkward.

I think that's just the fault of the devs not wanting to edit the motion capture files though.

Still, fat vamps. I want them as long as they actually look fat.

♥♥♥♥, come to think of it, the New World of Darkness has a whole clan of fat vamps that barf on people and turn their fat cells into blood.

Granted, this is the Old World, but still.

Are you being serious?
I wouldn't be surprised if they were. From what little I've skimmed the recent books listed, it looks like they'll let anybody write an official book about their fanfic bloodline. To me, WoD died with Time of Judgment.

Sadly, I think they just mean 'male body type' or 'female body type'. It's the exact same thing Ubisoft do in their games.

Nowadays you can't have a male character, just one that 'identifies as male' (and the same for females).

They're just avoiding the SJW's crying about being classified as a specific gender, so instead of being specific they're just calling it 'body type'.

I don't think it has anything to do with weight/mass or boob sliders...

I mean, I think that you're just being snarky.
But I know that people get mad about breast sliders and then harp on about '' hurr durr, y u no bulge slider den? ''...
But...
A very hung guy won't really look differently than a not so hung one, whilst how well-endowed a woman is will be very noticeable.

I think that a good customization system should have it really, because it's one of the very noticeable features on women.
Whilst something like a bulge isn't.

I mean considering your first comment I am not sure what your intent here was really.
To me at least, if you're allowed to customize your characters body then something like a breast slider should really be one of the options because of how prominent and varied of a feature that it is.

If I am playing a seductress that doesn't focus much on combat then I'd want to pretty much max that out.
Whilst if I am playing a drugged out Malkavian I'd pretty much want to have it at the lowest and then there's a whole lot inbetween that fits the fantasy better imo.

*Screeeech* You need to be more inclusive!

The problem with that assumption is that the game seems to take place in 1st person mode, So if a bulge slider isn't noticeable, then it's safe to assume a boob slider won't be, either.

depends on whether you can see said boobs or not when you look down.

Will there be a Millennial Clan that cries about everything, they're only in the game to be professional crybabies/victims and will they want things for free and when they don't get it they scream "racism' or "h0MoePhoBEEZ"? That would be cool, so I can kill them slowly.

I do want to play a character that's a little hoe and doesn't fight at all, she just does like a hollywood actress and looks pretty and goes around sleeping with everyone. I seriously want to make a female "rights" (or ##metoo) character like that without having to get in any fights.

Sorry, but the closest you'll get to a true, blue, political activist are the Brujah. In the dark ages, they were celebrated as the philosopher kings of vampire society. But in the modern nights, their reputation has become one of violent miscreants, who are prone to throwing tantrums when people do something they don't like.

Every other clan in the setting (including Toreador) are too dead inside to give a ♥♥♥♥ about the suffering of others. They're driven purely by their own self interests, and if that means somebody else gets hurt along the way, that's just too bad for them.

World of Darkness is a story telling game about gothic horror. It takes place in a darker version of our world. The government is more corrupt, the police are more violent, the corporations are more greedy, the bigots are more hateful, generally it's a pretty depressing place to live in. Hence the name of the series!

(This is totally off topic for the body thing)

You know, I was thinking about it, the first Bloodlines had a ton of jokes about Republicans and the Bush administration.

I think you even namedrop Bush at one point during one of VV's quests.

I'm kinda fine with politics being in there, just as long as virtually every faction in the game are horrible people regardless of what side they're on, like the first game.
