You do realize that the original game was also very much pro-LGBT, right? This is not something new to this IP's world and has been part of it since the beginning. Get upset over nothing.

I hope it will be about lesbian gay vampires with swords and mini-machineguns.

One ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Malkavian does not make the game pro-LGBT, ffs.

Did you even play the Bloodlines?

Did you? Your character could do things with either gender and it was not only with named characters. There is also the IP's world, which is larger and been going on longer than just the first game, also being pro-LGBT. Not to mention that vampire lore in general is usually extremely open to sexual encounters regardless of gender, as they are often perceived as creatures of lust and sin throughout history.

Uh, no. They couldn't. There was only a single romance encounter with Jeanette. And it was only so she could manipulate the PC into doing what she wanted behind Therese back. I have an original jewel case of the game sitting on my shelf. I've beaten the game with every clan, including the modded content.

If you're thinking of the Ghoul Heather that you get, you can't have sex with her. She only gives you money, blood, and stolen items. (And the blood dolls in the game regardless of gender where only for healing. Male kindred can't even have sex. Jeanette had sex with male kine that she picked up in the club.)

EDIT: Kine is the vampire term for humans.

It's going to be about LGBTI+ humans and their daily lives as barristas and game journalists mainly. There will be no problematic content and you will like it. Or else...
Dude get out of here. The original was probably the most pro LGBT game of its era

In vtm gender doesn't matter because vampires mostly frigid (due to their deadness state), mostly toreador clan has any kind of sexual activity, and player can't do that in the game. So you could call yourself whatever, and that wouldn't matter.

Gender and sexual orientation pretty much go out the window when you're turned into a Vampire. You just exist as a kindred now, and the blood calls to you. No more sex, no more labels, no drugs, just feeding, betrayal, and upholding the masquerade.

I've played the table top game for almost twenty years in various circles. I have fangs, I have clothing. VTM is a lifestyle. Not a single ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ player is worried about what pronouns they're called unless it's their clan.

I am also clan Toreador. They use their beauty and seductive powers to feed and influence human culture and society, not bang each other. lol

That's why all the LGBT controversy is such a farce. Millennial vampires, I suppose. Fledglings this days.

Once the kine are embraced into the kindred society their sexual preferences of their previous life slowly but surely becomes an afterthought. This is especially true for low gen kindreds like 6-8 th generation as their blood is very close to caine the father of all vampires. The only thing that matters to them is power and the constant supply of blood. There are also independent clans who focus their attention towards religion like Islam and Christianity. And there are others who are noddist who are basically historians of vampire history and lore. So you see sexual orientation isn't on top of their priority list. Power , Blood , Knowledge , Survival and ofc the Masquerade are all that matter.

Although some do still have the need for sex like victoria ash and there is a very old toreador named Iontius who was sired by the toreador clan founder herself Arikel. He found a way to feed on humans through sex instead of blood and exists even in the modern nights. There is another character I remember who loved sex as she was a nymphomaniac. Anka , the priestess of thorns. She belonged to the Ravnos clan and was a member of the Sabat. There was also Sascha Vykos born as a male but could change his gender. For the most part he preferred keeping his genital as female and before that had ♥♥♥♥ erotic relationships too. So LGBT elements were there in the lore but for the most part the sexual desires are all but gone in many kindred. They do however use sexuality as a weapon to feed on kine

It's clear that you don't even understand the lore. There's no such thing as an LGBT angle on Vampires. It just doesn't apply.

It's tough being a neo-fascist today with all these books, movies, comics and games not celebrating white supremacy.

While there is no pro "LGBT" angle, the first vampire game allowed you to play as both genders, male and female. If you pick a female character, you can also seduce nearly all the ladies plus gentlemen except for a few. There are also different seduction lines and dialogue for both genders. Characters also treat you differently depending on the gender you play, with some characters limiting/changing their dialogue (including flirting and seduction) to the opposite gender.

This variety (as well as good, intriguing and immersive storylines) in role-playing is what I hope to see in VTMB 2.
